In an age where scientists can genetically enhance coffee plants, then there will be drastic changes to coffee manufacturing worldwide.

An orange Kiwi fruit might be slightly out there, so at the end of this post we evaluate about how genetic modifications might allow food to be become self-aware!  However, On a coffee plant, the beans will not mature at the same time as the plant itself, so regular plant harvests are required.

Coffee plant genetic modification means the plant and beans mature at the same time, which is caused by a spray chemical that reacts with the plants’ initial genetic enhancements.

This means GM method farmers can supply higher levels of coffee to market (more cheaply and quickly) than any farmers using traditional means.

A farmer using GM methods can produce very specific flavours, because all the coffee beans themselves are at the same maturity level meaning their taste will be consistent.

In the past only a handful of places in the world would grow coffee, due to necessary temperatures and air pressures that affect the flavour.

Using GM methods, farmers have the luxury of not needing a particular geographic area with its unique conditions in order to grow coffee beans.

So what might happen to other foods that are subjected to genetic modification?

A genetically modified doughnut would be able to apply its own icing, have its own cardiovascular jam network to keep it warm, and would be highly skilled in hiding itself from predators

A genetically modified banana would be ready chopped; the banana trees themselves are excellent swimmers and can seek out and anchor themselves on sunny coastlines. Each banana has been modified to float so any that drop don’t sink.

A genetically modified beer would be able to change its colour to become the drinkers’ football team.  Drinking a modified beer would mean the drinker becomes stronger, smarter, and more desirable to the opposite sex.
