A bacon butty with over 20 slices of bacon in it has been discovered to remarkably contain 5 times the amount of fat that the average person is recommended to consume every day.


If you look closely enough at the picture, you will see that in fact, the butty is not strictly a bacon butty. The picture is of a BLT sandwich served at a restaurant in Michigan USA and the 20 slices of bacon are winning the battle for space against the lettuce and tomato in the sandwich itself. In effect then, it is the largest and biggest bacon butty in the world. A leaf of lettuce can be seen on the bottom left hand side.
