Intelligent Fridge can scan and organise food
A design for an intelligent fridge has been released by internet food supermarket company Ocado, that can scan use by dates on food and then move any food product to the front of the fridge that should be eaten using its network of tiny panels.

This invention means there would no longer be any leftover rotting food hiding at the back of the fridge, because the fridge would move any gone off food to the edge by automatically activating sliding panels on its shelves that move any food items placed on them. The extra features on the intelligent fridge are a calendar organiser, a digital Photo album, a HD TV touch screen on each door and a database of recipes. The fridge can also connect wirelessly to the internet.
Following the correct cleaning procedures in any food business kitchen are very important, because if done partially or incorrectly, then there are risks to consumers health. All consumers will expect minimum levels of cleanliness and that the food business has a food hygiene certificate at the premises.
